Salary: £32,987 - £35,280 per annum
We have opportunities for senior staff nurses within the CHAS team providing the highest level of family centered care to support the needs of babies, children and young people with life shortening conditions and their families.
You will provide leadership support and specialist clinical expertise to the multi-disciplinary team, and will undertake a number of line management responsibilities. Providing a high standard of palliative nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans, you will support families in making the most of the short time they have together. As well as managing a wide range of complex conditions, you’ll help create precious memories that may mean you helping with activities in our arts and crafts room and outdoor activities.
In return, you will work alongside a highly motivated and skilled team with the opportunity for professional development and clinical supervision.
You will be a registered children’s nurse with around five years relevant experience of working with children with complex nursing and palliative care needs as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Line management /supervisory experience is highly desirable.
